How do you make a shower wheelchair accessible? You remove any steps, lips, and dams and then you create a slight slope down to a lovely lineal drain. Of course, all this must be done with beautiful decorative tiles.

On the wall, we created a vertical, straight layout with tight grout lines and a recessed niche for a shelf.

In a separate bathroom, we created another corner shower with 3x3” black and white tiles.

We also fabricated a custom quartz countertop with an undermount sink and a matching backsplash for the perfect finishing touches in this gorgeous space.

Bathrooms like this are wonderful for all users, including those who don’t require medical equipment. The lack of barriers makes the space easy to clean and gives it a luxurious roomy feel.
